Andrew Jameson achieved a best time on his best event going 15.18 for the 1500 free which was a good start to his CG2002 campaign. Other notables were Gemma Sutherland breaking the minute for the 100 free, which broke the Scottish Junior record and she added the 100 BC record as well. Martyn Taylor on 400 & 1500 Free with Tom Lindsay and Siobhan McMahon showing great improvements since the summer.

Scottish Open Championships - Tollcross June 01
The combined Open & Youth was a spectacular event with the best British swimmers aiming to get World championship qualifying times. Plenty of opportunity for the autograph hunters with Hickman, Foster, Parry, Edmonds and Palmer in attendance.
In the Open event, COAST male swimmers held their heads up, particularly in the distance events. Chris Whitcombe and Andy Jameson made the finals in the 400, 800 and 1500m free with Andy also making the 200m final. Chris achieved his Scottish youth time in the 400m.
